Bluebair Jet Aviation
How the assignment is structured
Safety-led preparation, flight execution and reporting for technical flights that demand more than a type rating.
Bluebair Jet validates the regulatory classification, MCF level, crew requirements and flight programme for each aircraft and mission, then coordinates the technical and authority interfaces through preparation, execution and reporting.
Applicable framework
Maintenance check flights are specialised operations under the applicable Air OPS framework. For complex motor-powered aircraft such as the Hawker types supported by Bluebair Jet, these flights are conducted under the Part-SPO framework and the dedicated MCF requirements.
Declared Swiss SPO operator
Bluebair Jet S.A. is a Swiss SPO operator declared to the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) for maintenance check flight activities. Bluebair Jet has Hawker pilots with the operational experience and dedicated training required for these specialised flights.

Mission preparation
- Review of maintenance work and systems to be checked
- MCF classification, flight programme and technical data review
- Risk assessment, stop criteria and abnormal procedures
- Coordination with operator, CAMO and maintenance organisation
- Weather, airspace, authorisations and on-board personnel briefing
Test points and aircraft configuration
The exact profile is derived from the maintenance data, aircraft status and approved flight programme. Depending on the work performed, this may include defined checks of flight controls, trim, autopilot, pressurisation, air data, landing gear or high-lift systems. Oxygen equipment, unusual configurations and recovery actions are briefed before flight; nothing is added spontaneously in the air.
- System-specific test cards and expected values
- Configuration, altitude, speed and airspace requirements
- Crew oxygen and protective-equipment review where applicable
- Stable entry conditions and explicit stop criteria
- Immediate return to a normal configuration after each point
Flight crew and execution
- Type-qualified crew with MCF-specific experience, training and recency as required
- Clear Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring task allocation
- Strict limits, continuous parameter monitoring and no unplanned testing
- Structured anomaly management and observation recording
Post-flight reporting
- Immediate debrief and structured report
- Clear separation of satisfactory results, observations and defects
- Corrective-action coordination and conditions before any further flight
Hawker scope
Subject to mission validation, aircraft status, crew availability, qualifications, recency, insurance and applicable rules: Hawker 700, 750, 800A, 800XP, 800XPi, 850XP, 900XP and 1000.
